At a riding stable–and I didn’t even know I was a lesbian then.

Which of your own books is your favourite?

The Intersection of Law and Desire–it’s a dark book, but it made me a better writer.

Describe your workspace.

Boring, functional, relatively neat. (My mother was the daughter of German immigrants, I learned how to clean up after myself.)

Sex. Chocolate.
